Renee wrote a poem!

I was trying to write a song, but since I suck at that and can never seem to find a tune, I transformed it into a poem. Huzzah!

WAR.
Put on your sweatshirt, we're going out
Past the red light that can't stop this
Who came up with this dirty thought
Countless lives taken are what bought
Nothing of particular, nothing of consequences
The red light is not the one that can stop this
Running away should be for the defenseless
A mistake someone said to strike the oppression
Pressure was built to cause damage
In this situation, evil and hatred in marriage
Bullets ring out over a field of greed
It makes us suffer when we learn of the casualties
We cry, we mope, we pray for it to end
But honestly, my friends, is now any different from then?
Nothing has changed, still people fight
Revolution is what need, while awareness is at its height
Okay, so war has countless consequences, many, many, many effects on worldwide lives. But not the price of death. What has that done? Only raised the heads of those who care, to notice, "Ah, something's going on here..."
