i've been handwriting in my real paper-and-pen journal for the past couple of weeks due to the it calling to me from its beautiful loneliness and being conveniently situated beside my bedside.
this is the beginning of a new beginning.
the only constant thing is change.
i'm afraid i've give into the feared condition known as "teenager." i'm finding more things that are true to me than ever before, which may be part of whole "high school" thing. i have a hunch it may be a good thing.

this song is unbelievably catchy. jesse mccartney used to be such a heartthrob of mine. still pretty cute, haha.

out of a recent interest in djing, i've been looking into "underground" party music, if that made any sense whatsoever. this song makes me want to dance beyond belief; i found myself humming it in school.

the first game of the season was last night; the stadium was totally packed with cheering fans, one side white and the other black. i marched my first ever show, which turned out to be slightly saggy because i was so nervous, but lassiter did win 14-7. :D

warning: personal opinions and viewpoints. &&
as i sit here in the living room with the laptop on my legs, furiously trying to get my summer reading homework complete, i can't help but overhear my mom and dad discussing the economical situation that's plaguing the
planet that we walk on. and it's starting to make me want to double over and cry.

because there are people whom i know and love and share street with that are struggling to keep the very house they live in. and for all i know, this is absolutely nothing compared to less fortunate areas of our country, even the world. vicious cycle, die. you've murdered us nearly a century ago, don't do this again.

this is only the beginning of what i expect to become something very psycho. because this kind of stuff creates anger, and anger creates war. remember the great depression? what followed right after, hm?

i hope those who are struggling are still able to remember how blessed they are no matter how much has been taken away from them. remember that you still have a lot. please.

one thing that never ceases to make me so happy and full of air is when married couples express their love for each other, because for those who don't think they will ever find true love, you can just look right outside your window. it's everywhere. :]
